Our apartment complex also put on some Chinese New Year Celebrations for residents. Here is our daughter receiving her red packet or 'lai see' containing a chocolate coin:

We also went to watch the spectacular fireworks over the harbour. Here is our son getting a good view:
Unfortunately my pics of the fireworks weren't that great and you can find many better ones by searching the internet!
