New Year Party 2

My son enjoyed his Chinese New Year party at preschool. Here he is in the foyer ready to go:

and in his classroom playing:

They both made traditional Chinese New Year themed decorations and craft this week. My son made this model firecracker and traced these Chinese Symbols onto a banner, and my daughter helped make the tree, candy box and Tiger New Year card:

They were both given red packets containing a chocolate coin by their teachers. Giving red packets containing money to younger family members and employees is also traditional at this time of year. Here are the remnants!
