Box of love

Robert made this present to say thank you to Granny (my Mum) for being such a lovely Granny. She has looked after the children a couple of times recently while I have gone to work and they have had great fun.

I got the idea from this website. He covered a little jewelry box with tissue paper, glitter and sparkly things, and drew lots of kisses on coloured paper which we cut out and put inside along with more sparkly things and heart shapes:

We all gave a little kiss to the inside before sealing the box with silver ribbon. The tag reads:

This is a very special gift

That you can never see.
The reason it's so special,
is it's just for you from me.
Whenever you are happy,
or even feeling blue.
You only have to hold this gift
and know I think of you.

You never can unwrap it,
please leave the ribbon tied.
Just hold the box close
to your heart,
It's filled with love inside.
