Botanic Garden Singapore

Since moving to Hong Kong one of the things we miss the most are the green open spaces to run about in that we used to take for granted in Scotland.  Singapore has more parks and green areas and we really enjoyed exploring some of these at the Botanic Garden today.  One of the centrepieces is the bandstand:

There are sculptures scattered throughout the gardens and I loved this one of a girl swinging amongst the trees:

After a lot of running around, we stopped for a rest and ice-cream in the shade of a large tree:

It is a really peaceful place and such a change from the centre of the city, well worth a visit.
