The Emancipated

A group of musicians from our church here in Hong Kong (Island ECC) released their eponymously titled album 'The Emancipated' today and I went along to the launch night.  It was a great evening.

Here is an exerpt from the album sleeve:

"Implied in the definition of the word “emancipated” is the refreshing truth that we cannot free ourselves. Our freedom comes as a result of someone acting on our behalf, paying the price to set us free. We believe His name is Jesus Christ and, through His death and resurrection, we have the ability to courageously and beautifully embrace our liberation."
