Puffs and Pandas

We visited Ocean Park again today. There are lots of stalls selling snacks around the park, many of which, including the squid for example, are a bit too adventurous for our tastes! We did decide to give the egg puffs a try though and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty they were:

They are made with egg batter in a kind of waffle machine and are crispy outside and soft, a bit like eggy bread on the inside, except more gooey. They are a popular snack here and you see them being sold on the streets all over the city. Here's the proof they were a hit with the kids:

After our snack we went to see the pandas - both the famous giant pandas:

and their lesser known, smaller, red panda cousins:

They were a hit with the children too, who love spotting the different animals. There's always something new to see or do at Ocean Park!
