Taiwan Science Education Centre

Daddy is working in Taipei at the moment so we have come over to join him for a long weekend. This afternoon the children and I went to explore the Science Museum. It is a huge 6 floor building, in the basement is an interactive area aimed at young children:

The other floors are largely aimed at school age childrens and were divided into a variety of subject areas from "Ecodiversity" to "The Amazing World of Physics", from The "Science Circus" to my personal favourite "The Mystery of the Human Body" which included a large walk through tunnel exhibit that wound it's way on a journey from mouth to anus!

The top floor houses special exhibitions, one of which is currently a mirror maze, much to the delight of the children.

It was very interactive with lots of opportunity to push buttons, pull levers, turn cogs, fire balls, ride bikes, play with computers, balance, climb, build and run about, and the reason why Science Museums are usually one of our first stops when we go to visit a new city!
